I don't know what to say about this guy. Steven Pfeifer is a contractor that works in the Kansas City, Independence and surrounding areas. He seems like a very honest and nice guy, but don't let that fool you. He's nothing but a scam artist and thief. He will lie and say anything to get money out of you, while delaying and not doing the job. Not only that, the materials that you pay for you'll never see. He'll buy the very minimal amount on creadit and won't even pay the vendors in full, who will then come after you to put a mechanic's lien on your property. When I discovered how he really operated and confronted him, asked him to pay the vendors and to provide all of my materials, he burglarized my property and stole everything and even attempted to cause damage in the process. He stole a large sum of money from me. I've filed a police report and a claim with my insurance company and I expect both to go after him and I strongly hope that he's put away!
